Who Karna is

Karna was born to Kunti through the Sun god before her marriage, wearing natural armour and earrings; set afloat on a river, he was raised by the charioteer Adhiratha and his wife Radha. Duryodhana made him king of Anga, and Karna remained loyal to him even after Kunti revealed his birth to him before the war (Udyoga Parva). Famed for never refusing a request, he gave his armour and earrings to Indra, who came to him disguised as a Brahmin (Vana Parva), and he led the Kaurava army until he fell to Arjuna (Karna Parva).

“I have never turned away one who asks. Ask what you will of me — but not the game.”

How Karna plays chess

Generous to a fault, he gives away material freely for the initiative and fights with open, heroic attacks.

The Storm: Throws everything at your king, values activity over pawns, and hates a quiet draw.

Opening repertoire: King's Gambit Accepted · Vienna Gambit
