Who Narantaka is
Narantaka, a son of Ravana, rode into battle on a horse as swift as thought, wielding a gleaming lance with which he cut down vanaras by the thousand. Sugriva sent the young prince Angada against him. Angada stood unarmed before the charge; Narantaka's lance broke against his chest, and Angada killed his horse with a blow of his palm and then struck Narantaka down with his fist.
“My horse runs swifter than thought. Can your pieces keep up?”
