Who Suniti is

Suniti was the elder queen of King Uttanapada and mother of Dhruva, though the king favoured his younger queen Suruchi. When the five-year-old Dhruva came weeping after Suruchi had pulled him from his father's lap, Suniti did not answer anger with anger. She told him to bear no ill will, and to seek the Lord's grace through devotion instead. Following her counsel, Dhruva went to the forest to pray, and became the Pole Star.

“I bear no resentment. Every setback can become a blessing.”
