Vidyunmali
Who Vidyunmali is
Vidyunmali, garlanded with lightning, was the youngest son of Tarakasura and ruler of the iron city on the earth, the last of the three cities of Tripura. When Shiva rode out against Tripura in the chariot of the universe, Vidyunmali fought fiercely and struck Nandi, Shiva's attendant, before he was slain. Then the three cities aligned, and Shiva's single arrow burned them to ashes.
“My city is iron, and my strike is lightning.”
