Alayudha
Who Alayudha is
Alayudha was a mighty rakshasa, kinsman of Bakasura, who came to Kurukshetra seeking to avenge the rakshasas Bhima had slain — Baka, Hidimba and Kirmira. He offered his services to Duryodhana and joined the great night battle on the fourteenth day, where he fought Bhima fiercely. Ghatotkacha came to his father's aid, and after a long duel of weapons and sorcery he killed Alayudha and threw his head before Duryodhana.
“Baka, Hidimba, Kirmira — I have come to settle their accounts.”
