Who Arishta is

Arishta was an asura sent by Kamsa in the form of a huge, maddened bull, whose bellowing made the cows of Vraja miscarry and the people flee in terror. Krishna called the bull to fight and stood firm as it charged. He seized it by the horns, pushed it back eighteen paces, threw it to the ground, and pulled out one of its horns, with which he struck the bull until it died.

“Stand aside or be trampled. I charge only forward.”

How Arishta plays chess

Charges head-first: a frontal pawn storm straight down the centre.

The Classicist: Sound, balanced chess: develops, castles and takes what the position offers.

Opening repertoire: King's Gambit, Falkbeer · Four Pawns Attack (Alekhine) · Austrian Attack

Defeat Arishta in a full game from the normal starting position to earn the achievement Seized by the Horns and open the way to the next guardian.
