Dantavakra
Who Dantavakra is
Dantavakra, king of Karusha, was a close ally of Shishupala and Jarasandha and an implacable enemy of Krishna. After Krishna slew Shishupala at Yudhishthira's royal consecration, Dantavakra came to avenge his friend, fighting on foot with a mace. According to the Bhagavata Purana, Krishna struck him down with his own mace, and Dantavakra and Shishupala are said to have been the doorkeepers Jaya and Vijaya in their last birth under a curse.
“My friends have fallen. I fight now for all of them.”
