Shakuni
Who Shakuni is
Shakuni, son of King Subala of Gandhara and brother of Queen Gandhari, was a shrewd strategist and a master of the game of dice. In the Sabha Parva he played on Duryodhana's behalf against Yudhishthira, and through his skill and guile the Pandavas lost their kingdom and were sent into exile. He fought for the Kauravas throughout the war and fell to Sahadeva, who had vowed to slay him (Shalya Parva).
“Shall we play? The pieces are the same on both sides. Whether your judgement is as sound as mine, we shall see.”
