Who Subahu is

Subahu, son of Tataka and brother of Maricha, joined his brother in raining blood and flesh upon the sacrificial altar of Vishvamitra to defile the rite. On the sixth night of the sacrifice, Rama, standing guard with Lakshmana, struck Maricha with the Manava weapon and hurled him far over the ocean, then struck Subahu down with the fire weapon, the Agneyastra, so that the sacrifice could be completed.

“Your quiet plans are a sacrifice I mean to spoil.”

How Subahu plays chess

Attacks from the first moves and loves to break up a quiet position with an early pawn thrust.

The Classicist: Sound, balanced chess: develops, castles and takes what the position offers.

Opening repertoire: Albin Countergambit · Budapest Gambit · Schliemann Defence

Defeat Subahu in a full game from the normal starting position to earn the achievement The Rite Completed and open the way to the next guardian.
