Shurpanakha
Who Shurpanakha is
Shurpanakha, sister of Ravana and widow of the asura Vidyujjihva, saw Rama in the forest of Panchavati and desired him. Rejected by Rama and then mocked by Lakshmana, she rushed at Sita in fury, and Lakshmana cut off her nose and ears. She fled first to her brother Khara, whose army Rama destroyed, and then to Ravana in Lanka, where she described Sita's beauty and goaded him into the abduction that began the great war.
“You think you can refuse me? Every refusal on this board will cost you.”
