Who Trinavarta is
Trinavarta was an asura in the service of Kamsa who took the form of a whirlwind. He swept into Gokula in a storm of dust that blinded everyone and carried the infant Krishna high into the sky. But the child grew so heavy that the demon could not rise further or let him go; Krishna gripped his throat, and Trinavarta crashed down onto a rock and died, while the child was found unharmed playing on his chest.
“Hold on to your pieces — the wind is rising.”
