Who Yudhamanyu is

Yudhamanyu was a prince of Panchala who, with Uttamaujas, guarded the wheels of Arjuna's chariot through the war at Kurukshetra. On the day Arjuna broke through to slay Jayadratha, the two princes fought fiercely to keep Arjuna's flanks safe from the Kaurava champions. Like Uttamaujas, he survived the battle but was killed in his sleep by Ashwatthama on the night after the war.

“While my friend guards one side, I guard the other. Fiercely.”
