Who Kusha is

Kusha was the elder of the twins born to Sita in Valmiki's hermitage, where she lived after leaving Ayodhya. Trained by Valmiki in learning and arms, he sang the Ramayana with his brother Lava in Rama's assembly. Rama gave Kusha the southern kingdom with its capital at Kushavati; Kalidasa's Raghuvamsha tells how, in a dream, the goddess of the deserted city of Ayodhya called him back, and he restored it to its glory.

“I restored a deserted city. I can restore any position.”
