Who Lomasha is

Lomasha was a great sage who, on Indra's request, came to the exiled Pandavas while Arjuna was away in heaven learning divine weapons. He guided Yudhishthira, his brothers and Draupadi on a long pilgrimage to the sacred places of the land, and at each one told them its story: of Agastya and Lopamudra, of Rishyashringa, of Bhagiratha bringing down the Ganga, of Parashurama, and many more.

“Come with me on a long pilgrimage. There is much to see.”
