Who Nakula is
Nakula, born to Madri through the Ashvins, was the fourth of the Pandavas, renowned for his beauty, his swordsmanship and his knowledge of horses. In the year of hiding he tended King Virata's horses under the name Granthika, and before the Rajasuya he led the Pandava campaign to the west. When the brothers fell at the Yaksha's lake, Yudhishthira asked that Nakula be restored to life, so that Madri too would have a living son.
“A good horse knows its rider. Let us see how well your knights know you.”
