Tara
Who Tara is
Tara, wife of Vali and mother of Angada, was the daughter of the vanara chief Sushena, and Vali himself praises her skill in judging subtle matters and reading portents. When Sugriva returned to challenge Vali a second time, she warned her husband that Sugriva now had a powerful ally, but Vali went out to fight. After his death she mourned him deeply, and later, as queen beside Sugriva, she calmed Lakshmana's anger with tactful words when the search for Sita was delayed.
“I read the signs before the battle begins. Let us see what yours foretell.”
